Cut Time is a database designed specifically for the needs of music programs all around the country! We use it to efficiently contact students, parents, and staff members on news regarding our program. We also use it to keep track of our instrument inventory, music library, and locker system! Cut Time is free to use and is required for all students and parents/guardians.


Students Signing Up for Cut Time

  1. Use this link:

  2. For “Subscribing schools/groups”, choose California High School (San Ramon CA) ID:9657.

  3. For “Your position”, choose Student/Performer.

  4. Click “Register Now” and wait for approval!

Parents/Guardians Signing Up for Cut Time

  1. Go to your student’s profile.

  2. Scroll all the way down until you see the Relationships tag, right under “Pictures” box and next to “Medical” tab.

  3. Click “Add Relationship” on the right, next to “Relationship Management”.

  4. Input all your information and press save.

  5. Add yourself as a new person.

  6. Wait for approval!

    ***Important: After approval, make sure you go back to your own profile and add your phone number!
