Interested in joining the California High School Marching Ensemble for the 2024 season? Click the on button to fill out the interest form and come to the informational meeting on Wednesday, April 24th at 3:45pm in the Cal High music room. Everyone is welcome.
Carrying on a long tradition of excellence, the California High School Marching Band and Color Guard is one of the finest marching units in the Tri-Valley area. It is the largest performance ensemble at Cal High and has a strong history of competitive success. You will see them performing year-round at football games, school rallies, local parades and field competitions.
Our Marching Band and Color Guard program is open to all Cal High students regardless of grade or ability level!

Students wishing to take Symphonic Band, Jazz Band or String Orchestra can register during student registration in March.
Chamber Orchestra, Jazz Ensemble, and Wind Ensemble will require auditions in addition to registering. Read below for audition information:

Incoming Freshmen:
Students interested in classes that need auditions will be registered into the class by their counselors. Note that information will be shared with middle school directors.
10th-12th Grade:
If a student wishes to sign up for a class that needs an audition after the course registration deadline, please contact the music directors (see emails below).
